Clinician Under Supervision

Carlita Harrington, MS

As a United States Navy veteran and an educator, Carlita has spent her career helping individuals navigate high-pressure environments and significant life transitions. Her practice is built on the Rogerian approach, providing a genuine, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges with the support of a clinician who values your unique lived experience.

Carlita is proud to serve a diverse range of clients, offering clinical support for all populations ages 12 and up. While she works with individuals from all walks of life, she has a dedicated passion for:

  • Young Adults & Students: Navigating the unique academic, social, and identity-related pressures of the collegiate and post-grad years.

  • Military & Veteran Families: Addressing the specific cultural nuances and transitions inherent in-service life.

  • Adolescents (12+): Supporting teenagers as they develop autonomy and healthy coping strategies.

Carlita believes that the relationship between counselor and client is the primary vehicle for change. Drawing from her undergraduate roots at Tennessee State University in Psychology and Communications, she focuses on building clear, empathetic connections. Her goal is to empower you—whether you are a student finding your voice or a veteran reclaiming your peace—to lead your own journey toward healing.
