Stephanie Resch, MA
Clinician Under Supervision
Stephanie’s heart is for those going through life's difficult transitions and the overwhelm it can bring. She considers grief and loss her specialty. But that comes in so many forms: from the loss of loved ones, unborn babies, marriages, homes, friendships, careers, communities... but she feels strongly that you don't have to lose who you are.
Maybe you're a young adult just venturing out on your own or navigating new relationships and figuring out who you really are. Maybe you're a senior citizen, dealing with health issues, caring for a spouse at the end of their days or maybe you've just said your final goodbyes. Or perhaps you are right in the middle of life (like her), trying to navigate kids, aging parents, career transitions, home-life balance and midlife marriages.
Stephanie’s primary source of therapy is CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). This extends into individual integrative applications such as art therapy, play therapy (for kids), sand therapy and narrative therapy. She works with you to look at harmful thought patterns, tease out what they are, try to find the root (our past is important), and push towards better patterns forging ahead.
